In or Out: Jennifer Aniston in Dolce & Gabbana

A shocking turn of events.

It's really not much of a departure for her. Black has always been in her teeny-tiny stable of "colors" and strapless is pretty much a given with her on any day of the week. What's of some slight interest here is the length, since Jen hasn't passed up an opportunity to show her upper thighs to the world in ages. Especially at premieres, where she's not expected to wear gowns. Even so, it's only the slightest of changes and besides, it's not like she doesn't ever wear gowns. A gal's got her Oscar and Emmy invites every year, after all. Plus it cannot be ignored that her upper thighs are actually kind of visible, depending on the light and which way the wind is blowing. Jen is genetically incapable of being demure. If she has to wear a skirt, then she's going to make sure you still get a show, dammit.

And yet, we kind of like the way she looks here, all things considered. It's striking and pretty with just a teaspoon of drama, which is about all she can handle with her clothes. We do wish the hair was a little more polished and the clutch is kind of big and obvious, but even so, we're inclined to give her an IN for this. We can't honestly say she looks bad, and while see-through skirts are not a good idea in most cases, if you're a star and your latest movie is opening, it's allowed, if not expected. She's turning heads and that's the name of the game.
