Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon had Twin Babies

After a long wait, Mariah Carey finally gave birth to not just one baby, but twins! She had given birth on Saturday April 30 around 12:07pm in a hospital somewhere in Los Angeles. The twins is a baby girl weighing 5 lbs. 3 oz. and a baby boy at 5 lbs. 6 oz. Both were around 18 inches long. Carey, now 42, is doing fine. As for the names of the babies, they haven't decided yet but they said they wanted a unique name. Congratulations to Mariah and Nick!

Can you imagine what it would be like to plan the royal wedding? With an ordinary wedding, we just have the church and the reception. Just to give you an idea, I saw a simplified schedule of the wedding day. It's more complicated than it looks.

• 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m.: It will be announced whether William and Kate will take a new title. The decision will be made by the couple and the Queen
• 8:30 a.m.: Guests will begin arriving at Westminster Abbey. Members of the general congregation and guests who arrive before 10 a.m. will use a side entrance known as the Great North Door
• 10 a.m.: The VIPs start to arrive - Government officials first (both foreign and domestic), to be followed by royal families. Kate Middleton is set to arrive before the Royal Family
• 10:40 a.m.-10:50 a.m.: The Royal Family will arrive, with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh being the last of the family to enter the Abbey
• 10:50-11:00: Bridesmaids arrive
• 11:00 a.m.: Kate Middleton and her father will arrive (collective sigh/gasp!). Details about Kate's dress have not been released in-part because Kate wishes to surprise William (a traditional prerogative/superstition). Heard this on the radio this afternoon that Justin Bieber shouted "Hello Manila!" instead of "Hello Malaysia" in his Malaysia concert. As expected many Filipinos went nuts over this news. But I can't seem to find any reliable source that this really happened at the Justin Bieber Malaysia Concert. If I were the Malaysians I would flood the internet over this issue. Yet I didn't see any Malaysians in any of the social networks that Justin did said "Hello Manila".

Real Madrid Defender Sergio Ramos Dropped the Copa del Rey Trophy just a while ago. They were in a parade celebrating their win against Barcelona. The players were in a open topped double decker bus when Sergio Ramos lost his grip on the Copa del Rey trophy. It fell under the bus and was said to be flattened, but later announced that it was fine. 


Although they say it was fine, some videos show some emergency personnel getting some broken pieces under the bus. Not to mention it was not seen at the celebration of the Plaza de Cibeles in central Madrid.

Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey Trophy, beating Barcelona 1-0. The winning goal was made by Ronaldo in Valencia. Copa del Rey is the Spanish equivalent of the FA cup. ABS-CBN Van Driver Sued for AJ Perez's Death

Finally the car driving the ABS-CBN van was sued by ABS-CBN according to Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN Corp. head of Corporate Communications. He said that the driver is not an employee of ABS-CBN but an employee of Southbend Express Services, Inc., a service contractor of ABS-CBN. The driver is sued for reckless imprudence that caused the death of AJ Perez and injured 4 others. 


Base on some investigation I read and some images I saw on TV, it showed that the two ABS-CBN vans in convoy was overtaking a vegetable truck.  While the first van was able to successfully overtake, the second van was not able to. Unfortunately it was hit by an approaching PARTAS passenger bus before it could get back to its lane. This happened along McArthur highway in Barangay San Julian, Tarlac. 

Any good driver would say that the van driver is at fault. He clearly was not able to estimate properly while overtaking. In tagalog "alanganin ang pagovertake niya." I'm not saying that the bus driver didn't do anything wrong. We all know that bus drivers here don't really care about approaching vehicles. But technically the responsibility of looking ahead to estimate the approaching vehicles lies with the one who is overtaking.

Kate Middleton now has her own coat of arms(left). Supposedly, Kate has the right to apply herself a crest to the College of Arms which deals with coat of arms matters. But her father wanted the whole family to be able to use the crest. That's why Michael Middleton was the one who petitioned for the coat of arms which reportedly costs 4,400 pounds. This means that

his other children, Pippa and James, and his wife Carole Middleton can also use the crest. So technically, Kate Middleton's family is the ones who has the new coat of arms.

The new coat of arms is pretty simple in design compared to the prince's. The three acorns represents the three children including Kate. The two thin white chevron symbolizes snowy mountains which represents the family's love for skiing and outdoors. The gold chevron in the middle represents the mother, Carole. It was colored gold because Carole's maiden name was Goldsmith. The Colors red and blue in the background represents the Union flag of UK and matches the recently revised Prince William's coat of arms.

In an online video, T-Mobile launched  a viral marketing campaign with transforming the royal wedding into a dance party. They got the idea from the "JK Wedding Entrance Dance" which had 64 million views. The video was filmed at St. Bartholomew the Great Church in London. 

A T-Mobile said that the royal wedding spoof is "a congratulatory message to William and Kate, as well as a way of capturing the nation's celebratory mood."

Ashley Tisdale is well known for is wholesome image in High School Musical. But I guess she's a big girl now, and appeared on a nude photo shoot with Allure magazine's May issue. She is turning 26 this year so I think people are just used to her clean image.
